The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan) is one of the flagship schemes of the Government of India, providing direct financial assistance to farmers across the country. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 annually in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each.
As of now, the government has already disbursed 20 installments, and farmers are eagerly waiting for the 21st installment. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming payment.
PM Kisan 21st Installment Release Date
The 21st installment of ₹2,000 is expected to be released between October and November 2025.
However, the official date has not been announced yet by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
Farmers are advised to regularly check the PM Kisan official portal (pmkisan.gov.in) for updates.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be registered under the PM-Kisan scheme.
- Have their Aadhaar card linked with their bank account
- Ensure land ownership details are verified and updated
- Complete e-KYC before the due date
Importance of e-KYC
Farmers who have not completed e-KYC may face delays or rejection of the installment.
Recently, the KYC deadline has been extended until March 2026, giving farmers extra time to update their details.
e-KYC can be completed via the official PM-Kisan portal or at nearest CSC (Common Service Center)

- Visit the official website: pmkisan.gov.in
- Click on ‘Beneficiary Status’ under the Farmers Corner section
- Enter your Aadhaar number / Registration number / Mobile number.
- The screen will display your installment status, bank account details, and KYC status.
What to Do If You Don’t Receive Payment
- Verify whether your bank details are correct
- Ensure that Aadhaar is linked with your bank account.
- Confirm that your land records are updated.
